Buying YouTube views is not without risk. A higher view count does not mean that people are consciously watching your video or will return later. Before you pay, ask how the provider reaches viewers. Do people see your video as an advertisement, or is only the number of views artificially increased? The promise of ‘safe views’ does not answer that.

Are you allowed to buy YouTube views?
The YouTube policy against fake engagement bans artificial views. They may be excluded from the count. Violations can lead to warnings, removed videos or termination of your channel.
So it is not only about the word ‘buy’, but mainly about how the views are generated. Paying to show your video as an advertisement is different from paying to artificially increase the counter.

- You may draw the wrong conclusions. If the counter rises after a purchase, that does not prove that your new title or editing works better.
- You may give away sensitive data. Do not share a password, recovery codes or access to your Google account with a seller.
A fictional example: you buy views for a video in which you explain how to play the guitar. The counter rises, but that does not tell you whether someone found your explanation useful. You also do not know whether that viewer wants to watch a next lesson. So look beyond the delivered number.
A familiar payment method, delivery in small steps or ordering without a password does not automatically make the views safe under YouTube’s rules. These features do not tell you how the views are generated.
Do paid YouTube views count towards earnings?
Do not assume that bought views will generate money. There are two different questions: are you allowed to join the YouTube Partner Program, and how much do you earn from your videos?
According to the explanation of YouTube Promote Promote is an official advertising tool. Watch time and subscribers from advertising campaigns do not count towards joining the YouTube Partner Program.
That program is also called YPP. This rule concerns admission to the program, not a fixed return per view. A package with many views therefore does not tell you how much you earn from it.
Does a provider promise that a package will pay for itself? Ask for concrete data that demonstrates this. If it is missing, do not include the promised return when deciding how much you want to spend.
What should you check before buying YouTube views?

- Can you afford to lose the amount? Do not use money you need for fixed expenses. Do not count on making a profit from the purchase.
Still unclear where the views come from? Then do not order just because the provider says it is safe. Even a small trial order does not prove that the method is permitted.
What can you do instead of buying YouTube views?
Do you want to pay to promote your video? Then compare advertising through Promote with a package of views. For advertisements, consider your goal and the costs. They do not guarantee a fixed audience or further growth.
Without an advertising budget, you can first improve one video. Choose a title that clearly explains what the viewer will get. Show immediately at the beginning what your video is about. Cut a long introduction if it adds nothing.
