Do the same now.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check what your phone enters automatically.<\/strong> It could be an old password or a different email address. Also check that there are no accidental spaces.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Test your internet.<\/strong> Open another website. Does that not load either? You can use that access to check your account details.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"wachtwoord\">TikTok does not recognise your password or email address<\/h2>\n<p>First check that you are trying to open the right account. Search your own inboxes for old messages from TikTok. This may help you find which email address you used, without immediately creating a new account.<\/p>\n<p>Your display name does not have to be the same as your username. Unsure of your username? Ask someone you follow to view your profile and tell you the name.<\/p>\n<p>TikTok describes <a href=\"https:\/\/support.tiktok.com\/nl\/log-in-troubleshoot\/log-in\/reset-password\">password recovery via phone number or email<\/a>. When logging in, look for \u2018Forgot password\u2019. The steps may vary between app versions.<\/p>\n<p>Choose an email address or phone number you can still access. Create a new password that you do not use anywhere else. Then also update the password saved on your phone.<\/p>\n<p>Do you normally log in through a linked service? Use that same method. Can you no longer log in to that service either? Try recovering that account first. A different TikTok password will not give you access to that service.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"verificatiecode\">No code received when logging in to TikTok<\/h2>\n<p>A verification code is a code you use to confirm that you have access to your email address or phone number. First check where TikTok sends the code. Do you recognise the partly hidden address or number? Only enter it in the recovery attempt you started yourself.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"account\">TikTok account blocked, hacked or logged out by itself<\/h2>\n<h3>You have been logged out unexpectedly<\/h3>\n<p>Being logged out does not prove that someone has taken over your account. First try logging in as usual. Also check whether anything has changed without you doing it, such as your email address or posts on your profile.<\/p>\n<h3>You think someone else has access<\/h3>\n<p>Also secure the inbox you use for recovery. Try it on another device you own or open the official website in your browser. Type the address yourself. Are you using a VPN, a service that redirects your internet traffic?
